School Overview

AISPP aims to be a four-programme International Baccalaureate (IB) school and the leading educational provider in the region. AISPP is an authorised IB PYP school and holds candidacy status for the MYP and DP programmes. The school also aspires to be accredited with the Council of International Schools soon.

It is modelled on Australian private and independent education standards with a balanced focus on academics, pastoral care, co-curricular options, sporting activities, the arts and character development, in an international context.

The curriculum is taught by qualified teachers mainly from Australia, New Zealand and the UK, who utilise the Australian National Curriculum concepts, skills and knowledge through the IB framework to teach students in a modern way, in enhanced learning environments, and suited to 21st- century learning.

Our students wear a formal uniform (implementation January 2019) modelled on private education to build community, develop personal standards, confidence and character.

AISPP is a member of the Australian International Schools Association (AISA) network globally, as well as being recognised as a global partner of the Australian Independent Schools (AISNSW), and we will be seeking Council of International Schools membership in 2019.

Built in 2016 with impressive facilities on a lovely campus, and founded in 2017 with our first young students, AISPP offers the popular IB programmes as a candidate school, for Primary Years Programme and the Middle Years Programme as of August 2018. The school plans to offer the Diploma Programme, currently a candidate school, and the Career-related Programme, both in the final two years of high school, in the very near future.

The school invests in its staff by providing training and professional development opportunities internally through weekly workshops and coaching, and externally through international conferences, IB training and further study. Our teachers are our core focus along with our students, as we believe great schools have great teachers to develop outstanding student learning.

Our leadership and management are highly experienced, having led and developed schools and IB programmes globally. They are members of global educational organisations and undergo professional development annually as well. The school is ably supported by a governance structure keeping its focus directed at education standards and programme development.

AISPP is proud to be leading the way in Cambodia with its standards, as it prepares students for the 21st century. To do this, we are focused upon instruction, effective curriculum use, professional training and specific learning environments that develop learners who are principled, thinkers, communicators, creative and collaborative, as well as having competence in technology use and confidence in themselves as world citizens.

At AISPP, we believe community engagement is key to a successful school.

Openness and service are critical to the development of engagement. Effective community engagement requires that we strive to have an open system, sharing our resources as well as our issues with the community as we seek their partnership.

We are a community at AISPP. We vary community involvement so that all families can participate at all levels. At AISPP this involves:

  • Communication
  • Partnership in student learning
  • Parent volunteers
  • Parents using the school as a resource
  • Parents as decision makers

During 2019, we will establish our ‘Friends of AISPP’ parent group to support our school with a focus on welcoming new families, events, learning, and charity and service to others.

Also at AISPP we have Parent Meet Ups throughout the school terms. Parent Meet Ups are a chance for parents/grandparents to get together with representatives of the school to develop friendships, hear of their child progress, learn some great parenting tips and give feedback.

Light refreshments are offered, whilst we all have a catch-up to discuss how our amazing children and school are progressing. Keep an eye on our school calendar for when the next Parent Meet Up is!

We look forward to seeing you there.

AISPP is pleased to introduce a new formal school uniform from 1 February 2019.

Our school uniform is a representation of the school values as an Australian independent school in the context of the International Baccalaureate (IB). We believe that a school uniform teaches students to dress smartly and take pride in their appearance. Uniforms help build a sense of belonging and a community within the school. Above all, they can improve learning by reducing distractions, sharpening focus on schoolwork, and making the classroom a more serious environment.

In introducing the school uniform, we have taken into account international guidelines to ensure that parents get best value for money. The uniform is supplied by Midford Uniforms Australia, makers of fine uniforms since 1946 and preferred school uniform suppliers to both leading independent and government schools across Australia. The uniform is designed to international standards and will be available through the school.

The school will stock uniforms and all required supplies through our Uniform Shop situated on the second floor of Building A.

AISPP believes that our uniform is a vitally important aspect of our school’s identity as well as being an integral part of our community.
